For the past few  days or so I have been watching shows from the Fall 2007 fashion season, and the one thing that I have noticed, is that many of the hit trends from that season, are coming back.

Houndstooth, plaid, tweed, and black was seen at Michael Kors and Chanel Fall 2007, and the houndstooth was HUGE during the Fall 2013 fashion week, just as it is now!! As it was seen at Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Moschino, and about every other show during the Fall 2013 season.

Another Hit Fall 2007 trend was fur, it was ranked one of the biggest trends during Fall 2007 fashion week, and it was during Fall 2013 fashion week too. Both at Michael Kors Fall 2007 and Ralph Lauren Fall 2013, models wore Chic Fur hats that were very puffy and round, kind of like what the English soldiers would wear that guard Buckingham Palace in London, England but in a Very Fashionable, Chic way.

The Edgy, Punk theme was HUGE then just as it is now, I even though it is definately more HUGE now then it was in 2007, 2007 gave us a preview of what’s to come six years later, as Sparkles and Studs were seen at Michael Kors, and leather, snakeskin, and black at edgy Burberry Prosum back in 2007.

Even at the Chanel Fall 2007 show, models wore black boots with many straps on them, that were at least knee high. Very Edgy. Similar boots appeared at Chanel’s Fall 2013 show, at least knee high but were black like the ones in 2007, and were leather and had Chic chains on the bottom of the boot. Very Edgy both times.

The last very similar trend that I noticed was the silk fabrics. It was seen at Vera Wang Fall 2007, and it appeared at about every show via Fall 2013, from Prabal Gurung to Richard Chai LOVE to Nina Ricci.
