Francisco Costa Mixes Luxe with Laid Back

Strapless gowns get a casual vibe when in a knit inspired fabric. And the trench coat gets a knit remake. While a fur ballet pink Trenchcoat makes you feel as if you’re curled up on the couch, even when at work or in the classroom. And Flapper inspired sequined shifts go under your staple knitted trench.
Today in New York City, Calvin Klein‘s Francisco Costa presented the Pre-Fall 2014 collection for the brand. Mixing luxe with laid back for an über Chic and effortless result.

1940s Silhouettes Channeled at Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2014

Peplum. A Fur Shaw. Tweed. Delicate Diamonds and Pearls. And an instant Hourglass figure. For Pre-Fall, Zac Posen takes note from 1940s inspired sillohouettes. Using the delicate and ladylike staples seen throughout the decade. But as the 1940s may be key, rich hues of Oxblood, Navy, Red, and even pastels, and some Ruffles are used to give the collection a modern twist. And with Zac Posen’s Beautiful signature ball gowns, what could be better?

Classic Staples Get an Edge at Belstaff

A blue tweed trench with leather at the zipper. A military inspired olive colored jacket, buttoned around the neck. And a pleated skirt paired with an edgy suede jacket. As Pre-Fall 2014 Fashion Week is getting closer and closer to it’s peak each day, Belstaff has officially left me all obsessed with their latest collection. While some of my favorite Classic wardrobe staples, like the pleated skirt, the Equestrian Boot, Tweed, and Plaid are featured throughout the collection. They’re paired with pieces such as a leather separates, or cut in a way that it has a more Masculine or edge to it. Each paired black leather wedges or Equestrian boots. For a Chic grunge feel. Which in my opinion, feels so right now when it comes to Streetstyle. Now I can’t wait to see which Supermodel will be first to sport a piece from this collection on the streets of New York, London, Milan, or Paris.
