In the history of Moschino, today marked a very important day, as the newly named Creative Director, Jeremy Scott, makes his Ready-to-Wear debut with the House at Milan Fashion Week. With the chocolate bar invitations, Scott took inspiration from Fast Food brands, such as McDonald’s, Sweetreats like Hershey’s chocolate, and Spongebob. A very commercialized feel, indeed. While I loved the bold and vibrant styles, I also sort of missed the styles of the Moschino House, throughout the collection, the silhouettes were seen a bit throughout the beginning of the collection, but just not enough to convince that this was a Moschino show. Although Scott may have been a little off when it came to incorporating the elements, (or at least in my opinion), at Moschino, he did, however, leave a lasting mark at Milan Fashion Week.
