Jason Wu Makes his Debut at Hugo Boss

Celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Anna Wintour front row, a garden like scenery, and Supermodel Stella Tennant making a runway appearance; you know that this is a coveted show. After many seasons of a coveted Hugo Boss show at Berlin Fashion Week, Jason Wu takes the helm at Hugo Boss, moving the Berlin venue, all the way across the Atlantic to New York City. Wu’s first collection at Hugo Boss was most definately not a slip; as there seemed to be this such sleek, Chic polish throughout the collection. As the looks in the collection are very wearable, extremely well-tailored, and not too Preppy to the extreme.

The Tenth Annual Vogue and CFDA Fashion Fund Anniversary Party

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

As Vogue and CFDA’s Fashion Fund collaboration marks it’s 10th Anniversary, the hottest designers, and past winners came out to celebrate last night with Anna Wintour and Diane Von Furenstenburg, bringing their leading ladies. Tom Ford put the sizzle in the night, while Public School designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osbourne took home $300,000, winning the CFDA and Vogue Fashion Fund ‘New Designer of the Year.’
Having this be one of the biggest nights of the year in Fashion. I couldn’t help but adore the sheer LBD and leopard printed pumps that Lily Donaldson sported. While I just love the Juan Carlos Obando polka dotted maxi and fruit inspired golden danglings that Jourdan Dunn wore. And who wouldn’t want to wear the black gown quoted, “You can dress me up! But you can’t dress me out!” Which Lisa Maycock stroke a pose in, and Behati Prinsloo has worn before.
Definitely a night not to miss, The Tenth Annual Vogue and CFDA Fashion Fund Anniversary Party was definitely a night to remember. Flip through the gallery to see the Best Dressed from last Night.

Stella McCartney Gives Python a Soft and Sweet Feel for Resort 2014

image image image image image image image image image image

Model Tilda Lindstam shows off many of the Sweet and Feminine Pythoned looks.

This Resort 2014 season, as many snakeskin prints have been in style and designers have been giving it a Chic feel of their own, Stella McCartney definately impressed me, by giving phyton, a funky and edgy snakeskin print a soft and sweet feel.

With a khaki colored phyton print, Stella McCartney pairs it with light pastel shades like Baby pinks, blues, and yellows. White was also a key shade in pairing. McCartney also used feminine staples like flowers and lace, pairing it with phyton prints for a really fun, and sweet feminine feel.

Other than the phyton print, Stella McCartney also designed many very Feminine dresses in sheer and silk fabrics. Using colors like pastels as before, and adding in blacks and tangerine brights. Ruffles gave dresses a bouncy, fun feel while the baggy pant was also used, to give a more causal feel to sweet feminine looks. So Fun, Sweet, Feminine, and Casual at the same time. Amazing.
