The wait is finally over!!!!!!! Turning the Grand Palais into a Chanel Modern Art Gallery. Not only were the models gliding past paintings and sculptures, each referencing Chanel’s logo. But indeed, the clothing and makeup the models wore were masterpieces themselves. With the fabric of tweed as key. Lagerfeld focuses on a new trend: wearing two handbags at once. The collection was extremely feminine, yet very vibrant. I fell inlove with the artsy vibe seen throughout the collection, but that Classy Coco Chanel feel, showed off some elements signature to the House of Chanel for years. Definately to impress Coco Chanel, herself. And if you love bright, neon hues like me, this is definitely your Spring collection. Karl Lagerfeld is definitely the Genuis. Bravo!
Rather than his usual pastel shade and Floral prints, Erdem Moralioglu opts for a more Dramatic and Classy collection filled with shades of Black and white. Walking to the beat of Cello and Piano performers, the models wore Beautiful feathers and lace ensembles, each equally Stunning and perfectly Glamorous and Romantic for any Spring event.
I always love how Preen‘s Thornton Bregazzi designs many of his collections, using many different fabrics on dresses for a very artsy, Geometric feel. That style was seen a lot throughout the collection in Beautiful pastel and neutral shades. Which I think really brings a very fresh, and almost painter like style.
Besides his many artsy, Geometric ensembles, Bregazzi also designs many shifts in pastels, or a Neon pink, and cut in a very artsy way. The collection makes me think of an art studio really coming to life, with the clothing.
