17. Woven Booties

image imageWho says that patterns are just for clothing? As woven booties are the new thing this Fall 2013 season! Booties are the next big thing this Fall 2013 season, and woven booties give your look a Chic, unique touch. I just love how you can get a one or two pairs of woven booties and just pair them with many pieces in your closet from a jeans and top ensemble, to a top and skirt ensemble, to even a Chic dress. The best part is, they work well for walking in the city AND the rain!

Jonathan Saunders Spring 2014

image image image image

The flowers are definitely in bloom here at Jonathan Saunders! As the Jonathan Saunders girl goes on a vacation this Spring. Using lots of tie-dye and Models Sporting round sunglasses, the collection really brings me reminscene of the 1960s. But the pastel hues, sheer and chiffon fabrics, and the silk really bring in such a Modern vibe to the collection.

Lots of designers have been mixing Casual elements with more Feminine and Dressy elements, and I love Saunders take on that trend. With models Sporting Sporty jackets and tees on the top, and ending Gracefully with a feminine tutu skirt. Definitely a perfect ending to the collection.

Holly Fulton Spring 2014

Fun, Ladylike, and Casual. The three words I’d use to describe Holly Fulton’s Stunning collection. I love how Fulton uses many different colors throughout her collection, starting with blue, to Peach and White, to Grey and Lavender, and then to Chic Orange and Tan hues. Fulton, known for her extremely fun and feminine collections, used Casual elements in her collection, pairing them with feminine pieces for a fun and Chic look.

Fulton incorporated many fun Geometric and Ladylike prints throughout her collection.

Fulton also incorporated one of my favorite trends, the Sleepwear trend throughout her collection, designing many printed Sleepwear like pants that also work perfectly for going out.

Lacoste Spring 2014

image image

The hair and makeup looks very fresh, with bouncy, effortless waves and Natural, summer looking makeup. Perfect for a fresh, day at the beach.

For Spring, Lacoste‘s Creative Director Felipe Oliveira Baptista showed off a variety of Beautiful shades for Spring, and the more tasteful way for a women to wear the sheer fabrics in public. Both the women’s and menswear components of the collection was designed in hues of: White, Emerald, Navy, Peach, and a really light shade of Lime Green. The clothing was Beautifully tailored dresses that look comfortable to wear in the daytime, and at night. The dresses made in a sheer fabric, weren’t fully sheer as they were covered enough to look tasteful on any women. I would probably wear many of those dresses over my bikini, put on my Tory Burch or Ralph Lauren sandals, and there I am on the beach.

The men wore nicely tailored casual suits, and casual tops and shorts, perfect for vacationing.

As the end of the collection approaches, models start to come on the runway in Summer knits and Beautiful sheer dresses or a jacket with the high-low hemline.
