Nina Ricci Spring 2014

image image image image image image

Soft. Sweet. And Romantic. The three words I’d use to describe Nina Ricci‘s Spring 2014 collection. Creative Director, Peter Copping uses many soft shades of pastels, creams, and white. Incorporating many Dramatic ruffles, and Beautiful white flowing dresses, looking like they could be found on all of the Best Dressed women in Paris.

Towards the end, Copping incorporates many Beautiful floral prints, in light shades of blue. Bringing a very Springy and Garden like vibe. And the Evening Gowns????? Just left me Speechless.

Balenciaga Spring 2014

After his remarkable debut at the House of Balenciaga last season, Alexander Wang went way beyond his homage phase today. “I wanted to bring ease into the DNA and codes of the house that I’m working with,” Wang stated. As his collection showed such Feminity and Purity, while keeping a more Relaxed and Chill vibe at the same time. Many of the pieces remind me of Modern day 17th-Century fashions, with the many ruffles, and the many Baroque inspired prints. The collection also has this such Cool and Relaxed vibe, with many of the pieces exposing the midriff, and Classy trenches and suits, with some sheer fabric, showing off a little but still very conservative. The collection, really shows off Balenciaga’s DNA with an Alexander Wang vibe to it, extremely Chic and very wearable to the average women. There is definitely something for every woman in this collection.

Marni Spring 2014

For Spring, Marni’s Creative Director, Consuelo Castiglioni gives Ladylike and Minimalism elements a Chic Marni twist.

Castiglioni designs many shifts in Neutral hues, in styles of Trench, Ruffles, and Peplums. Bringing me reminscene to Jil Sander, the Queen of Minimalism’s Spring 2014 collection presented yesterday.

The Geometric prints and embellishments, seen at the end of Marni’s collection is really fun and Chic, and Oh-So-Marni. Many of the collections, throughout London and Milan have kept those elements of embellishment and the many ruffles. And paired with those visors? I am definitely ready for Summer!

Moschino’s 30th Anniversary Show

Celebrating 30 years at the house of Moschino, Creative Director Rosella Jardini begins her collection, showing off a few pieces representing her years at the house of Moschino. Then switching into a Beautiful collection, with none other than a Good Girl vs Bad Girl Theme.

“The Good Girls” showed off Beautiful Chiffon, Silk, and tweed ensembles. Many of which were in a tutu style. Sweet colors of Pink, Red, Black, Cream, and White were seen a lot. With many flirty Floral print dresses, really bringing such a Glamour and Romance. A vibe seen throughout all the cities so far at Fashion Week. Like many designers including feminine accents, Jardini includes her edgy and Punk accents with “The Bad Girls.”  Showing off leather jackets, chains, and ripped up denim. The Moschino Girl is definately ready to look edgy for Spring.

Representing the 30 years of Moschino, Jardini sends out some of our old favorite Supermodels, (aka Alek Wek, Jodie Kidd, and Erin O’Connor), amongst a few. In some of Moschino’s most memorable pieces. And the finale, with live singing.

Peter Dundas Channels Hip Hop with an Emilio Pucci Twist for Spring

Emilio Pucci‘s Creative Director, Peter Dundas Channels something very New and Different for Spring: Hip Hop. Taking inspiration from Icons like Rihanna and Rita Ora, Dundas told Vogue Paris that he was inspired by Hip Hop, Masaï Prints, and Sportswear. Two of the elements, pretty much describing Rihanna’s wardrobe. The vibe of Hip Hop, mixed with the Masaï prints, I think is a Gorgeous and Unique combination. As Dundas pairs his Masaï printed ensembles with: leather shorts, edgy Hip Hop belts, and Black leather open-toed booties. Seen a lot throughout the beginning of the collection.

Towards the middle of the collection, models are sent out in very Rihanna and Rita Ora inspired ensembles. Like Sexy Black and Sequined cocktail dresses, seen on Julia Nobis (above to the right), and on Sasha Luss (below to the left). And the Tangerine jumpsuit seen on Katya Riabinkina, (above to the left), which really screams Rihanna. While the white knit evening gown seen on Julia Nobis, (below to the left), is definitely perfect dress for Rihanna to sport at the Grammy’s.

The Sexy Sparkled Jumpsuits and Evening Gowns, really scream Katy Perry, Rihanna, Rita Ora, Coco Rocha, and many others on the Red Carpet. They bring in such a Hip Hop, Punk vibe but still look Feminine at the same time. Newly-wed, Malgosia Bela closes this Stunning show. Then, Peter Dundas takes his bow, ending another Beautiful Emilio Pucci show. Definitely my favorite so far in Milan.
