A Fresh Opulence is how I’d describe it. As Giambattista Valli, himself is a designer who loves florals. Indeed, florals was the most important element at the show. Using Sparkles, Silk, and even sheer Valli mixed up the textures used on the floral prints. But what really gave the collection a fresh, Spring vibe was the lace used throughout the collection. Over crop tops and bodysuits, fresh Flowing lace dresses gave a really fresh, Spring feel. And for a more formal feel, try one of Valli’s peplum and ruffled ensembles. You’ll definitely find endless options for your Spring wardrobe in Valli’s collection. A fresh opulence guaranteed.
Proenza Schouler‘s Spring 2014 collection, began with models walking in an array 70s inspired jackets, dresses, and baggy pants in shades of tan, black, and red which really bring reminscene to the 70s.
Towards the end of the collection, Proenza Schouler sends models down the runway in very Great Gatsby inspired black dresses with silver beading. The collection ends with Beautiful bedazzled crop tops and skirt ensembles.
Model Julia Nobis shows off all the Beautiful looks from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2014 collection.
For Resort 2014, Alexander McQueen Creative director, Sarah Burton took a more simple but so Beautiful route for Resort 2014. Using lots of Chic white and tan dresses in the beginning, some with lots of pockets, and very Curveious while others had very Sexy cutouts at the shoulders, all leaving a bold very Alexander McQueen like statement. Burton then incorporates baby blue, and denim patchwork ensembles, each with really Sexy cutouts for Resort 2014 season. Burton then goes back to the Chic tan and white ensembles, many with neutral colored printed pants and a Chic edgy crop top. Then Burton ends the collection with an array of Beautiful white lace gowns and colorful Baroque gowns that definitely scream Alexander McQueen, and bring back a little bit of a vibe from Burton’s Fall 2013 Alexander McQueen collection. So Beautiful and Very Chic. Definitely making me ready for Resort 2014.
