As Matthew Williamson said himself, “My girl has grown into a woman and this collection is the jet-set, luxury wardrobe that will take her anywhere in the world.”

Which’s really a Powerful statement that most definitely describes Williamson’s latest collection. Using many Bold colors and prints, and delicate details Williamson’s collection is extremely Ladylike, and bold and like Williamson said, can definitely take you “Anywhere in the World.”

Daks Spring 2014

image image image image

The collection is extremely feminine and Classy, but Daks Creative Director, Filippo Scuffi gives the collection that perfect vibe for any Classy women going on a vacation. Scuffi begins his collection using Neutral shades, and Peach and in Classy silhouettes but with a more relaxed, vacationing twist. Aka Baggy Pants, and Casual tops made in a very fancy fabric, still giving it that Classy, not Sleepwear look. The accessories in the beginning are fun tan chain necklaces, and of course big matching sunglasses. Giving the clothing a perfect, fun, Chic, and polished statement.

Scuffi then designs an array of ensembles using one of my all-time favorites, the Daks signature plaid, and of course black. Scuffi uses more Classic accessories, like Black pointed to pumps and big black sunglasses, which’ll give instant polish to any look however casual it is. A perfect beginning to London Fashion Week.

From Sand at Tommy Hilfiger to Cars at Opening Ceremony to salt at 3.1 Phillip Lim, designers have been coming up with some of the most creative runway ideas yet for this Spring. Phillip Lim takes inspiration from China, but puts a feminine twist on the silouettes for Spring.

Lim designs jackets with the Chinese dragon imprinted on them, and uses many baggy silhouettes for the pants, and jackets for a very Chinese-inspired collection. Also using fringe and Chinese like sandals, worn by many of the models.

Feminine pieces are seen throughout Lim’s collection from peplum, to pastels and delicately tailored dresses, and skirts. Sheer fabrics, key.
