Donna Does It Dramticially

30 years after The House of Donna Karan started, Donna Karan’s got her brand going higher than ever. For her 30th Anniversary show, comes a Dramatic entrance, leading for a very neutral hued collection, in very Sensual silhouettes and strong fabrics, adding suspense to the collection, while those very few monochromatic red gowns add the perfect spark of Romance and celebration to the collection.

Sportswear Staples Make for an Elegant Donna Karan Collection

For Pre-Fall, Donna Karan goes Elegant. Using Sportswear staples as the foundation. As knitted skirts and simple tees get the up factor when paired with Classic, yet Elegant staples; such as: The Trenchcoat, A Simple Blouse, The Pencil Skirt, A Collared Chiffon Dress, A Strapless Gown, and even my favorite, The Beret. All for a Chic and such Elegant outcome.

Ralph Lauren Spring 2014

image image image image

Ralph Lauren was inspired by life for his Beautiful Spring 2014 collection, as he explained to Harrod’s Marigay McKee at the show. Explaining many of the bursts of brights, and the Beautiful floral and checkered prints. The collection really brings such a Chic Mod 60s vibe with the Monichromatic bright shifts, Round sunglasses a favorite of mine, and the Beautiful preppy Black and White checkers and floral printed get-ups paired with black knee high socks.

The hair was left down straight, with a Chic, effortless bounce to it, very 60s inspired. The makeup left Natural, with some Mascara on the eyelashes.

Lauren begins his collection with the models wearing delicately Beautiful and Classy black pointed-toe pumps, a definite must-have in any women’s closet. When models start coming out in Bright shifts, they wear Beautiful brightly and neutral colored sandals and pumps.

The evening gowns in bursts of Bright colors and with Beautiful ruffles and Sparkles, really bring such a Beautiful, Happy and Fun vibe to the collection. For by far one of my All-time favorite Ralph Lauren shows. A checkered suit pick-me-up in January, yes please!

Looks of the Week Wednesday, Straight from New York Fashion Week

At New York Fashion Week, models spend their days going from show to casting, to show, and then to fittings at night, they’re up pretty much 24/7. And while on the streets, the models get their photos taken pretty much every second. Here’s my favorite Streetstyle over the past few days at New York Fashion Week:
