After their tropical printed Spring collection, (my favorite Spring 2014 collection to be exact), Veronica Etro, has been coming up with more and more ways to keep us all at the edge of our seats. For Fall, Etro tests out one of my favorite trends, Earthy, as basic outerwear, Earthy tones, and furs remain key throughout the whole collection. Another key trend seen all throughout the collection is the mixed prints. A trend that I show off a lot in my outfits, (check out my other blog, Tales From a High School Fashionista, and click on the tag, #ootd to see pictures of all of my looks); Etro seems to mix prints of all kinds together, whether it’s metallic paisley with a wool plaid, or a fair isle scarf with a cape in a print that looks as if it were a Persian rug. The collection, altogether, just seems as if there’s a perfect look for any of my Fall and Winter events.
When you the words “tropical prints,” most people think of a Summer maxi, or a bikini that you’d wear on a hot summer’s day. You saw them on the Etro, Marc Jacobs, Dsquared, and Hermes Spring runways. So tropical prints … Continue reading →
Beautiful Cavalli prints of paisley, in bubbly hues of Daffodil, Cobalt, Aqua, Ballet Pink, Hot Pink, and Lavender. All I can think of Etro‘s Spring 2014 collection, my favorite collection during the Spring 2014 fashion season, and begging to go on a vacation to Bora Bora. But when mixed with staples of leather, baggy pants, fringe, and animal prints; you feel as if you have the perfect wardrobe to transfer you from Summer and into Fall.
One Word: Speechless. Veronica Etro mixed many Beautiful prints of: Paisley, Snakeskin, Flowers, and even Geometric. The collection really has that Bohemian vibe, but also has such a Chic ‘Let’s Go on a Safari‘ vibe, seen at many of the shows this Spring 2014 Fashion Week. Making me really wish I could go on an expedition to Bora Bora right now.
Etro uses many styles of Maxi dresses, Jumpsuits, and Many long and Flowy dresses. Strapless, or with sleeves. Perfect for an all night party in Malibu. Really bringing in such a Stunning, Beachy collection, while definately having that signature Etro vibe. What would make an Etro collection, an Etro collection without prints?
