Who Doesn’t Remember this Do at Chanel? #tbt

Now who couldn’t remember the heart-shaped hairdo that models sported at Chanel‘s Spring 2010 Haute Couture show. The days when my all-time favorites, like Freja Beha, Sigrid Agren, Anja Rubik, Jac Jagaciak, Frida Gustavsson, and Siri Tollerod were still roaming the runways. But with the pastel colored Haute Couture frocks sported, all I can think is Easter. Especially with the hair.

Tilda Lindstam, Chiharu Okungi, Amanda Murphy, Cora Emmanuel (pictured far right), Catherine McNeil, Ashleigh Good, Kate Upton, and Sam Rollinson are the newest members of models.com Top 50 Models.

Aspiring models everywhere try to make it to become the next big Kate Moss or Gisele, each year. But only a few get to make it, even into models.com coveted Top 50 Models, Industry Icons, The Money Girls, and very few make it into The Supers. Models.com has officially changed up their rankings, as they annually do in September and in February. Who made it?

The Top 50 Models Rankings have been moved around a lot. Joan Smalls does remain Number 1, Saskia Number 2, Liu Wen Number 3, Karmen Number 4, and Cara Number 5, (scream). But where is Karlie Kloss? She has moved down to Number 9????? Which I just think is plain old crazy because Kloss is the Newest Victoria’s Secret Angel, scores millions of new campaigns by the minute, and she sells Karlie’s Kookies, and designed her own line of jeans for tall girls. Me and probably about every other Karlie fan is pretty upset over this. In the Top 10, Daria Strokous is Number 6, Suvi 7, Edie 8, Karlie 9 and Sigrid at 10. Which surprises and excites me that Sigrid didn’t move after many models, including Karlie Kloss moved down.

The Newest edition to the Top 50 Models has definitely excited me a lot. Seeing two of my favorite Newcomer Models, from the Fall 2013 fashion season graduate over to the Top 50 Models in just a difference of months wasn’t enough, as Sports Illustrated Supermodel, Kate Upton, Catherine McNeil and Tilda Lindstam also scored coveted spots on the list. I was definitely shocked, yet excited at the same time to see Sam Rollinson, one of my favorite Newcomer models, rank 17 on the Top 50 Models list, from scoring the Burberry Prorsum campaign three years ago, little known to now scoring Balenciaga, J Brand, and Sonia Rykiel campaigns. I was also very excited to see one of my other favorite Newcomers, Ashleigh Good rank 26, after becoming a Karl Lagerfeld, and campaign favorite. Good ranks 26, along with fellow Chanel campaign star, Chiharu Okungi. Kate Upton scores slot 15 for her campaign work at David Yurman, while Catherine McNeil at 16 with Sam Rollinson for her Amazing comeback this Fall 2013 season, even winning Fashion Tv‘s First Face Countdown for the season, ranking up campaigns for Prada and Donna Karan, and did you hear? She’s engaged to boyfriend Miles Langford! Also Miucca Prada’s Newest Muse Amanda Murphy scores the 20th slot! But the last two to make it in to the Top 50 Models was Tilda Lindstam and Cora Emmanuel, both such Gorgeous models who have had such short year long careers and have now made it. With Tilda known for her famous Streetstyle and campaigns for Tory Burch, Calvin Klein, and Chloe. Cora for her Stunning Balmain Fall 2013 campaign, and contracts for many other brands, including H&M and Tommy Hilfiger. And you know, I can’t flip through any Fashion magazine now without seeing any of these Beautiful 8 faces in it!

Sigrid Agren, Jac Jagaciak, Frida Gustavsson, Karlie Kloss, Karmen Pedaru, Arizona Muse, Joan Smalls, Constance Jablonski, and Liu Wen are all the Newest Editions to The Money Girls.

The Money Girls list had a lot of new editions made to it’s list, some of them even surprised me. I was pretty shocked, and excited to see one of my favorites, Sigrid Agren make it into a the list, at Number 36 for all her work at the Chanel brand, and her contracts with other brands like Sportmax, Elie Saab, and Daks. And to my surprise Chanel Beauty face, Jac Jagaciak was ranked just right above Agren at 35. There’s no surprise that the four Estée Lauder faces all new it into the list. Joan at 21, and Liu and Constance tied at 22, and Arizona at 25. The Karlie Kloss has definitely made it into the list at 28, surprising I thought she would be higher. Michael Kors face, Karmen Pedaru has ranked the highest of the Newest editions of The Money Girls. The all-time Michael Kors face who has been ranking up contracts daily has ranked at 17. And to my surprise, One of my favorite models Frida Gustavsson has made it in at 32, for her many perfume contracts, and her new Maybelline contract (scream), as well as her contracts for brands like Valentino and Express.

H&M Fall 2013 Campaign

image

For H&M‘s Fall 2013 Campaign, the Iconic Swedish Brand decided to look to their Iconic runway fashion show comeback this past February at Fall 2013 Paris Fashion Week for their Campaign. At the brand’s after party, the models had the time of their lives, dancing, going crazy, and just having fun during the crazy fashion week. And they photographed models: Frida Gustavsson, Isabeli Fontana, Cora Emmanel, and Edita Vilkeviciute just having the time of their lives for the campaign. What a great fun, freelance, and Chic Ad Campaign.

Valentino Fall 2013 Haute Couture

This time for Haute Couture, Valentino creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, played with many Beautiful shades, and textures. Grazia Chiuri and Piccioli used a lot of Beautiful baroque, as always. Many of the dresses had golden embroidery on it. Neutrals were the key colors throughout the collection, using colors that go well with them as a Chic fun dose of color. There were many gowns in the beginning that were lace, with Beautiful gold embroidery. Besides lace as a key fabric, Grazia Chiuri and Piccioli also used tweed in a Chic beige/army green shade. Pairing it with lace, embroidery, or just simply as a Chic dress. Velvet was another key fabric in this collection. There were also many solid dresses in tweed, and in silk fabrics that were in Chic tan hues. In the end, models came prancing down the runway in sheer fabric dresses, with embroidery all over it, or a silk gown with in a solid hue, like red, (which was a fun shade used a lot), or in a really Beautiful pattern. All for another Gorgeous Valentino Haute Couture collection. This is the reason why I always look forward to seeing Valentino’s Ready to Wear and Haute Couture collections.
