The Best of Fall 2013 Haute Couture Fashion Week

Lindsey Wixson at Atelier Versace

From the Different cultures and continents inspired Dior collection to the Theatre stage at Chanel to Naomi Campbell opening and closing another Gorgeous and Sexy Atelier Versace show to Viktor & Rolf making their Haute Couture debut, it’s hard to choose just one favorite collection, or even look from this past week’s Fall 2013 Haute Couture Fashion Week. My favorite collection this Haute Couture season would definitely have to be Elie Saab. His collection brought me back so many great memories of the holidays, by the red, silver, gold, green, and Navy gowns. The Elie Saab Bride was just Gorgeous, with that long, gorgeous train and the three bridesmaids, was just Pure, Pure Beauty. Each of the looks he designed was just pure perfection, and I would definitely picture myself in every one of his designs from that collection. image<img src=”″ alt=”image” width=”200″ height=”300″ imageclass=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-3792″ />

My favorite stage this season would definitely have to be the theatre set up at the Chanel show. I really love the theatre and watching plays, so I LOVE to see such a Creative theatre, including the theater’s design. I loved the stage too with the curtains and screen. A true theatre. Karl Lagerfeld always designs something different for Chanel each season, and I always really look forward to the exciting stage that goes along with the collection, that’s why Karl’s my favorite designer.

My favorite look this season would have to be a three way tie between, Lindsey Wixson‘s closing look at Alexandre Vauthier, Lindsey Wixson’s Sexy navy Sparkley jumpsuit at Atelier Versace, and Esther Heesch’s lace evening gown at Giorgio Armani Prive.’ All three looks were just Gorgeous, and something that I would definitely wear. imageimage

During Fall 2013 Haute Couture fashion week, I was in love with every collection, from Elie Saab to Chanel to Valentino to Dior to Ulyana Sergeenko, and much more.

Models: Mirte Maas, Esther Heesch, Sasha Luss, Fei Fei Sun, Juliana Schurig, Antonia Wesseloh, Ashleigh Good, Agne K., Erjona Ala, and Steffi Soade show off their Beautiful Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 Haute Couture Looks.

For Fall 2013 Haute Couture, Giorgio Armani took inspiration from China, designing a very ladylike collection, in neutral shades, with some Chinese clothing staples.
For his collection, Giorgio Armani used only neutral shades, beginning with many tailored and structured jackets, paired with full skirts. Both in a nude heel. And some of the models wore black feather Pom poms around their necks. Mirte Maas wears a Beautiful kimono jacket with matching baggy pants, both with a Chic lace print. Many other models also came out on the runway in similar jackets, and the baggy pant. Silk was definately a key fabric in the collection. Since 2013 is the year of the snake, snakeskin was seen.
Besides the Chic Chinese staples, lace was also key in many of the dresses and evening gowns. Armani designed many of his dresses in a sheer, chiffon like fabric. Especially in the evening gowns, all of them strapless, and many with lots and lots of glamorous ruffles. While others were coveted in sparkles and lace. And Sasha Luss even wore a fur Shaw with her nude dress, sooooo glamorous.
The models hair was perfect for the collection. It was curled and then put up into a Gorgeous bun, giving kind of a Chinese feel, the same style you’d put your hair with chopsticks in, and ladylike with the curls.
