Feminine and Quirky Separates Make for Fun at House of Holland

As the collection was released yesterday, Henry Holland made a feminine and quirky statement fun for Pre-Fall. As a Cobalt pleated chiffon dress gets a statement with aqua and white stripes on the bottom. Plaid separates get mixed with stripes. A silk full skirt gets printed with sheilds in all bright hues, and topped off with a red graphic hoodie. Buttoned blue velvet dress gets quirky with a printed collar. And each look gets an instant finish with lavish polka dotted pumps, in bold hues.

Henry Holland’s muse Charlotte Wiggins shows off the collection.

For Spring, Paul Smith mixes Masculine elements with the Feminine for a very 70s inspired collection but with a Modern twist.

JW Anderson Spring 2014

JW Anderson’s collection is by far one of my favorites this season! I just love how Anderson used a variety of different fabric textures from rouched to sheer to silk, and even leather. And I just love the many styles that Anderson incorporates into his collection. Like the bows, and the one shoulder tops, ruffles, and the peplum. The collection definitely has something for everybody!

One thing that Anderson does that I really like, that he shows off many different color variations in a certain style. I think it’s really nice to see a different color on a specific style from time to time.

House of Holland Spring 2014

The first thing I thought when I saw photos of Henry Holland‘s latest collection was, “I NEED Every Piece from this Collection!”

Henry Holland’s ‘Home Girl’ theme took a ladylike turn this season with, the models walking pink and purple fluffy clouds. Showing off Stunning Ladylike looks with a bit of an edge. The collection makes me think of Cara Delevingne‘s Style, but with a more feminine twist. With Holland including elements, of Floral print and lace baseball caps, Plaid ensembles, and pieces with many Graphics on them, really bringing a reminscene of Cara Delevingne.

Henry Holland’s ladylike ‘Homegirl’ theme is definitely the perfect collection for any Women who likes to dress feminine and wants edgy separates, OR any Women who likes to dress egdy but wants feminine separates.

Holland uses lots of plaid checkered printed pieces, and pairs them with lace and nicely tailored jackets, for a really fun and feminine vibe.

Holland designs many lace dresses, and skirts, cut in a really Sexy and edgy style, in shades of Purple and Navy. The last few looks from the collection, are designed in a Beautiful Satin fabric in a Lavender and pink print, similar to the one printed on the catwalk.
