For me, I can’t believe that Milan Fashion Week is coming to an end!!!! It feels like yesterday that models like: Katya Riabinkina, Yumi Lambert, and Marine Deeluw’s Instagrams were filled with pictures from castings, a week prior to New York Fashion Week. As we all say good bye to Milan Fashion Week, and pack our bags for Paris; Giorgio Armani leaves us with another stellar collection. Infusing lime into Classic Staples, we are left with a collection that’s perfectly futuristic, yet Classy and polished. And those wet like curls, also give the collection that extra modern zest. So as we may be saying farewell to Milan, Giorgio Armani infuses our minds with a lasting Fall collection, just as our favorite models, editiors, and bloggers hop on a plane, train, or bus to Paris.
This morning’s Simone Rocha collection, may just have been one of the best shows of London Fashion Week. My Instagram feed, this morning, was pretty much filled with Fashion critics of all kinds, praising Ms. Rocha. With 1940s staples, getting an Elegant futuristic twist. A plaid dress gets a structure. Fur gets metallic adornments. The LBD gets a flirty twist, with ruffles. A classic cocktail dress gets covered in metallics. A little red or white dress gets sheer and caged. And Simone Rocha gets the honor of leaving a lasting impression at London Fashion Week.
Peplum. A Fur Shaw. Tweed. Delicate Diamonds and Pearls. And an instant Hourglass figure. For Pre-Fall, Zac Posen takes note from 1940s inspired sillohouettes. Using the delicate and ladylike staples seen throughout the decade. But as the 1940s may be key, rich hues of Oxblood, Navy, Red, and even pastels, and some Ruffles are used to give the collection a modern twist. And with Zac Posen’s Beautiful signature ball gowns, what could be better?
A Versace lover, myself, I couldn’t help but come across this Instagram post from Versace, actually posted minutes ago, announcing Lady Gaga the face of the brand’s Spring 2014 Campaign. The post was quoted: “Versace is proud to confirm that … Continue reading →
As Karlie Kloss and Candace Swanepoel, amongst others put on their Angel Wings, as they walked the Iconic Victoria’s Secret Catwalk last night. For that one special night each year. Who couldn’t help but lust over the Beautiful looks that made their way on the catwalk yesterday????
I know I couldn’t stop obsessing over the feathered pumps and matching feathered Angel Wings. While the shipwrecked section made me think of the Titianic. And the PINK section seemed to be a little all over the place. I was definately left Speechless by the Swarovski crystallized Snow Queens. I mean who wouldn’t feel like Walking in a Winter Wonderland after seeing that?
