Marc Jacobs Spring 2014 Brings a Stunning Finale to New York Fashion Week

image image image image

Just looking at the photos, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY. Marc Jacobs definitely presented another Amazing finale to New York Fashion Week, just about an hour ago. The collection, set in a dilaplcated beach, heat included. Jacobs sent many models down the runway in Beautiful tweed jackets with fringe and black embroidery, and Beautiful Baroque floral, more tropical inspired prints In the beginning.

Throughout the collection, Jacobs uses very Strong, Dramatic colors that were seen a lot throughout the Fall shows like: Oxblood, Black, Emerald, and Navy. Other elements I’ve noticed throughout the collection was sheer fabrics and Beautiful Baroque and Sparkled embroidery.

Jacobs then sends models down the runway in Beautiful Sparkly dresses, and evening gowns with none other than Sparkles dazzled on them.

And in the end, I see many Beautiful Victorian Inspired gowns really bringing in that Glamour and Romance seen at many of the Spring shows here in New York. With of course, the Beautiful sheer fabric on the sleeves and on the neck, and in very many dark, Dramatic hues. And the Victorian style ruffles on some of the dresses. Kind of reminds me of Halloween, but in a more tasteful and of course Chic way. Now I can’t wait to see what Marc Jacobs has in store for us in three weeks at Louis Vuitton!

Helmut Lang Spring 2014

image image image image image image

Looks like the Helmut Lang girl is taking the feminine route for Spring, as Helmut Lang’s Creative directors Nicole & Michael Colovos in Beautiful well tailored dresses, clothing in Beautiful sheer fabrics, and excitedly, Pink! But Nicole & Michael Colovos definitely kept Helmut Lang’s signature edgy cool vibe, designing many dresses with a very Chic, slouch to it, and many well tailored jackets paired with baggy pants. Definitely any girl’s perfect wardrobe for Spring.

The straight, effortlessly done hair, with the natural makeup and a burgundy lip really add such a Chic look that goes perfectly with the feminine and edgy accents for Spring.

Valentino Fall 2013 Haute Couture

This time for Haute Couture, Valentino creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, played with many Beautiful shades, and textures. Grazia Chiuri and Piccioli used a lot of Beautiful baroque, as always. Many of the dresses had golden embroidery on it. Neutrals were the key colors throughout the collection, using colors that go well with them as a Chic fun dose of color. There were many gowns in the beginning that were lace, with Beautiful gold embroidery. Besides lace as a key fabric, Grazia Chiuri and Piccioli also used tweed in a Chic beige/army green shade. Pairing it with lace, embroidery, or just simply as a Chic dress. Velvet was another key fabric in this collection. There were also many solid dresses in tweed, and in silk fabrics that were in Chic tan hues. In the end, models came prancing down the runway in sheer fabric dresses, with embroidery all over it, or a silk gown with in a solid hue, like red, (which was a fun shade used a lot), or in a really Beautiful pattern. All for another Gorgeous Valentino Haute Couture collection. This is the reason why I always look forward to seeing Valentino’s Ready to Wear and Haute Couture collections.
