Rodarte Spring 2014

Set on a Runway filled with colored lights, models come out on the Runway looking like Teenagers as if they’re just coming from a party. The collection keeps that Chic, 90s like vibe that was seen at Rodarte‘s Fall 2013 collection, but I wasn’t that appealed to many of these pieces.

In my opinion, some of the animal prints paired with the leather fringe and short shorts, it really brings such a tacky, more teenager at a party vibe. Some of the pieces freshly remind me of what I teenager would wear to a party, where they get into trouble. The short shorts look really tacky, and bring a less Sexy and appealing and more tacky and not attractive vibe. Laura and Kate Mullevy did though, design many pieces that I am appealed to, like the one’s pictured below. But many of the other pieces look really tacky and less conservative.

Last Night, Punk Fashion was celebrated at Fashion’s Biggest Night of the year, The Met Gala

Last Night, was definately fashion’s biggest night of the year, the Met Gala, cans this year it was celebrating Punk Fashion. So about every Actress, Top Model, Singer, and Fashion Designer was present at this big night, wearing something punk.

From Cara Devlingne’s Spikey all over Burberry Prorsum gown Miley Cyrus‘ Static hair and Marc Jacobs gown to Beyonce’s Custom Made Givenchy gown with a luxurious train to Constance Jablonski‘s Gold Cutout Wes Gordon Gown, it’s so hard to pick a favorite. Constance Jablonski’s Sparkly Golden fabric cutout Wes Gordon gown was one of my favorites, Constance decided to leave her down, most likely showing off her natural texture, straight with a little bounce to it, and the perfect amount if eye makeup. Another Favorite was Doutzen Kroes, who wore a black leather gown, with ruffles all the way from the bodice down to almost the floor, Doutzen also wore the perfect amount of Black eyeshadow and put her blonde hair back into a sleek ponytail. Both Constance and Doutzen looked perfect for the punk themed Met Gala.

British Supermodels, Cara Devlingne and Jourdan Dunn also attended this event, Cara was in a Black Burberry Prorsum gown, taking the plunge with silver spikes everywhere on the dress, and she was Burberry’s Creative Director Christopher Bailey‘s date to the Met Gala. Jourdan Dunn wore a black sequined floor length Topshop gown, being invited as a guest for Topshop, leaving Cara and Jourdan as Britain’s Best Dressed last night.

Beyonce was definately a favorite last night, with her black bodice top, to the orange paisley printed train on the bottom, she definately left everybody speechless. Katy Perry was another favorite, in her Silcian church themed dress and Golden Crown from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 collection, Katy definately left a fun, but still Punk mark on us. And Elle Fanning, WOW!!! It’s definately hard to believe that Elle Fanning is just 15, as Ashe entered the Met Gala with fellow Rodarte designers, Laura and Kate Mullevy, in a White top with a Red, White, and Blue tie dye floor length skirt. Elle left her blonde hair down and opted for crazy red and blue eyeshadow.

Here are some photos of their Looks
