Thakoon Spring 2014

image image image image

Thakoon’s Spring 2014 collection brings reminiscence to me of Coco and Lagerfeld‘s Chanel designs. With the thigh high lace leggings, lace, small shoulder bags, and silk dresses. Thakoon Panichgul‘s collection, definitely gives class and Feminity to the Thakoon girl this Spring. And as a big Chanel fan myself, I will definitely be getting many of Thakoon’s pieces for Spring.

Thakoon does add an edge to his Classy designs, with red leather Cocktail dresses, and a shiny silver fabric on some of the lace dresses.

Helmut Lang Spring 2014

image image image image image image

Looks like the Helmut Lang girl is taking the feminine route for Spring, as Helmut Lang’s Creative directors Nicole & Michael Colovos in Beautiful well tailored dresses, clothing in Beautiful sheer fabrics, and excitedly, Pink! But Nicole & Michael Colovos definitely kept Helmut Lang’s signature edgy cool vibe, designing many dresses with a very Chic, slouch to it, and many well tailored jackets paired with baggy pants. Definitely any girl’s perfect wardrobe for Spring.

The straight, effortlessly done hair, with the natural makeup and a burgundy lip really add such a Chic look that goes perfectly with the feminine and edgy accents for Spring.

Valentino Fall 2013 Haute Couture

This time for Haute Couture, Valentino creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, played with many Beautiful shades, and textures. Grazia Chiuri and Piccioli used a lot of Beautiful baroque, as always. Many of the dresses had golden embroidery on it. Neutrals were the key colors throughout the collection, using colors that go well with them as a Chic fun dose of color. There were many gowns in the beginning that were lace, with Beautiful gold embroidery. Besides lace as a key fabric, Grazia Chiuri and Piccioli also used tweed in a Chic beige/army green shade. Pairing it with lace, embroidery, or just simply as a Chic dress. Velvet was another key fabric in this collection. There were also many solid dresses in tweed, and in silk fabrics that were in Chic tan hues. In the end, models came prancing down the runway in sheer fabric dresses, with embroidery all over it, or a silk gown with in a solid hue, like red, (which was a fun shade used a lot), or in a really Beautiful pattern. All for another Gorgeous Valentino Haute Couture collection. This is the reason why I always look forward to seeing Valentino’s Ready to Wear and Haute Couture collections.

Models: Ashleigh Good, Antonia Wesseloh, Kremi, Mackenzie Drazen, and Hedivg Palm show off some of my favorite looks from the Bouchra Jarr Fall 2013 Haute Couture collection.

For Fall 2013 Haute Couture, Bouchra Jarrar played with many different textures, keeping one thing in balance, the neutral shades used. Black and white were key shades. Jarrar also played with many fabrics like silk, tweed, and leather. There were many outfits in a drapey material, that were either head to toe black, or head to toe white. Knits and furs were also used in the collection. And black and white plaid jackets in punk biker chick like style. There were also dresses, colorblocking in nude, black and white. All Very Chic and Beautiful.

Models: Sigrid Agren, Lindsey Wixson, Joan Smalls, Antonia Wesseloh, Sasha Luss, Esther Heesch, Sui He, Kremi, Ashleigh Good, Erin Wasson, Marte Mei Van Haaster, Georgia Hilmer, Yumi Lambert, Fei Fei Sun, Marine Deeluw, Aymeline Valade, Ondria Hardin, Grace Hartzel, Nadja Bender, and Tian Yi show off their Looks at the Chanel Fall 2013 Haute Couture show.

For Haute Couture, Karl Lagerfeld presents a Beautiful, Classy, and Edgy collection in what appears to be a theatre to look like it’s in the cavemen times, due to all the rocks in the theatre, and on the stage, the screen looked set to be in a city. Very Creative, Fun, and Chic.
Nadja Bender opened the show in a Beautiful Silver and Blue striped tweed jacket, a blue sparkly tunic, and of course those Chic thigh high boots, that were seen a lot in the beginning of the show. In the beginning, the models each came out in tweed ensembles, some with sparkles others with a little silk fabric, each with the Chic thigh high boots. Some wore Chic winter fedoras to match their looks. And many had Chic big black belts, giving them a waist. The looks in every color ranging from a light green, to navy, to an oxblood like shade, to army green, and even a silver grey shade. So Chic and a Perfect variety. And then comes the next section, the Evening gowns. Many in a Beautiful neutral shade as a base. And some with some exciting pattern, or polka dots, embroidered on the dress. And every dress had sparkles on it. Lagerfeld, during this section, played with many different textures as he did throughout the collection, giving some of the gowns with a sheer, chiffon, leather, velvet, and silk fabric. After Kati Nescher makes her exit in a Sparkly navy gown, ending the section. Supermodel, Erin Wasson appears as The Chanel Bride in a long sleeve tweed white trench coat. She then takes it off to reveal a Beautiful strapless white gown in a Beautiful, sheer chiffon like fabric, and very rouched but so very Beautiful, the Perfect bride for this Perfect Chanel Haute Couture collection.
