Giorgio Armani Spring 2014

Giorgio Armani leaves a Stunning mark, ending Milan Fashion Week. Using a bold color palette, Armani mixes many Classy and Masculine pieces, with more feminine pieces. Kind of reminding me of a lawyer dressed in Bold hues.

Throughout the collection, Armani mixes many different fabric textures of: sheer, Tweed, leather, and even knits. A trend seen a lot throughout the Spring Fashion Week.

Throughout the mid and end of the collection, models come out in Beautiful Floral printed dresses, some even in sheer fabrics. Each looking like artwork on fabric. And the dresses remind me of Lily Pulitzer.

Blumarine Spring 2014

image image image image image image

Blumarine’s Creative Director, Anna Molinari stated that “A hidden garden on a summer night,” was that starting point for this Stunning very wearable Spring 2014 collection. With Kati Nescher kicking off the Stunning collection, with an array of Beautiful white lace dresses, with butterflies and flowers. The Blumarine is definitely ready for a summer wedding.

Halfway through the collection, things change up from white lace dresses, to silk dresses and suits, in bright hues of red and Daffodil. And then, black. There were many snakeskin and sparkled gowns. Including the Stunning ruffled Snakeskin printed short dress, paired with a black silk many buttoned jacket, that Maud Welzen sported. Which I instantly fell in love with.

Christopher Kane Spring 2014

image image image image image image

Taken place on two floors, and in three rooms in an old warehouse, Christopher Kane presented a Stunning Edgy, Feminine, and of course Glamourous collection. Throughout the collection, Kane uses many very feminine fabrics like Baroque, lace, and floral prints, and shades of white, pastels, and Black. Giving them cutouts for such an edgy, very Christopher Kane feel. Like many designers, I love how Kane incporated in many hoodies paired with lace. Which I think really describes, the feminine and edgy feel here at Kane.

Towards the end of the collection, we see many Grecian inspired dresses in silk and Baroque fabrics, many in a Chic neutral shade. But Kane really gives the Beautiful Grecian inspired gowns a Chic modern edge with bedazzle and Beautiful, Classy pointed toe pumps, seen throughout much of today’s show.

JW Anderson Spring 2014

image image image image image image

JW Anderson’s collection is by far one of my favorites this season! I just love how Anderson used a variety of different fabric textures from rouched to sheer to silk, and even leather. And I just love the many styles that Anderson incorporates into his collection. Like the bows, and the one shoulder tops, ruffles, and the peplum. The collection definitely has something for everybody!

One thing that Anderson does that I really like, that he shows off many different color variations in a certain style. I think it’s really nice to see a different color on a specific style from time to time.
