N 21 Spring 2014

For Spring, I just love how N 21‘s Creative Director, Alessandro Dell’Acqua mixed feminine and Classy elements, with many Casual, more Menswear like elements. Many of the ensembles throughout the collection are very Preppy tops paired with Sexy Sparkly and Lace pencil skirts. Definitely perfect Cocktail and Going Out attire.

Dell’Acqua also included many sleepwear elements in his collection, with many silk button-downs and dresses in shades of all kinds, and many Menswear Chic blouses paired with baggy shorts and Sexy pencil skirts. There is also a little bit of a Menswear vibe throughout this collection, with many Menswear like blouses and jackets. But the N 21 collection still has that such feminine and Romantic vibe, when paired with feminine styles of lace, ruffles, and silk. A Lace pencil skirt pick-me-up in February? Yes Please!

Matthew Williamson Spring 2014

As Matthew Williamson said himself, “My girl has grown into a woman and this collection is the jet-set, luxury wardrobe that will take her anywhere in the world.”

Which’s really a Powerful statement that most definitely describes Williamson’s latest collection. Using many Bold colors and prints, and delicate details Williamson’s collection is extremely Ladylike, and bold and like Williamson said, can definitely take you “Anywhere in the World.”

Mary Katrantzou begins her Stunning Spring collection using many different shades, (mostly brights), and textures and mixing them with others. Creating many very Fun, Bold, and also a little Edgy looks but still with a Feminine and Ladylike vibe.

The end of Katrantzou’s collection was absolutely Stellar. Collaborating with Swarovski Jewels, Katrantzou sends out models in Beautiful floral printed, (Swarovski bedazzled), dresses. Each with their own fun flare, like ruffles, a fun full skirt, or in a Unique and Sexy strapless style. The dresses, perfect for any occasion like Going out, paired with a white Caridgan for a Formal Wedding or Party, or even when vacationing.

Michael Kors Spring 2014

Michael Kors Spring 2014 collection brings such a Retro 1940s vibe and really brings reminscene to me of Meryl Streep in the 1970s film, Kramer vs Kramer. With the Beautiful trench coats, high-waisted shorts and bathing suits, a la Taylor Swift‘s striped bikini that she sported paddle boarding with Ed Sheeran, the Neutral hues, the Snakeskin bags and Clothing, and of course every look belted at the waist for that insta-hourglass shape. Kors collection also had such a Beautiful, Romantic and Feminine vibe to it, and wouldn’t want to grab one of those Buttoned trench coats, or Snakeskin bags in the winter months?

The models literally glowed on the Runway with Beautiful natural makeup, and their hair up into such a Chic, effortless bun for the summertime.

Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014

image image image image

In Oscar de la Renta‘s Spring 2014 collection, has that Glamour and Romance that we’ve been seeing a lot at New York Fashion Week this season. The collection began with an array of Beautiful ensembles, each with a black top, or trench and showing off somewhere in the look a Black and white checkered print. Which I think is just so Classy, Conservative, and Beautiful at the same time. ¬†De la Renta then shows off many lace ensembles, with the color Navy, key. And then, switches into a Beautiful, Beautiful array of Classy, Feminine, and Ladylike Floral print dresses. Each perfect for any summer event, from a tea, to Church, to a nice little Summer party, and even on the days that you have work.

To me, some of Oscar de la Renta’s pieces look very Italian inspired. Like the baggy sleeve style on the lace shirts, the Big dangling earrings, and the Beautiful Baroque embroidery on the skirts and dresses. de la Renta gives the pieces a very Feminine twist with more Spring like pastel shades, really giving the collection that Beautiful Glamour and Romance.
