MSGM’s Massimo Giorgetti goes a Fun and Bold route this season, by Mixing prints. Most people are afraid to mix prints in fear of looking too crazy. But how Giorgetti does it by mixing prints from the same color family. He uses more plain and Sophisticated prints in Neutral hues, and pairing them with more fun prints of Paisley and Flowers in Bright hues. You instantly look tasteful and Chic, and you also get the up factor of not being afraid to go Bold.
The prints that Giorgetti incorporated into his collection are perfect for walking down the streets of New York, or for a vacation. Extremely Versatile.
One Word: Speechless. Veronica Etro mixed many Beautiful prints of: Paisley, Snakeskin, Flowers, and even Geometric. The collection really has that Bohemian vibe, but also has such a Chic ‘Let’s Go on a Safari‘ vibe, seen at many of the shows this Spring 2014 Fashion Week. Making me really wish I could go on an expedition to Bora Bora right now.
Etro uses many styles of Maxi dresses, Jumpsuits, and Many long and Flowy dresses. Strapless, or with sleeves. Perfect for an all night party in Malibu. Really bringing in such a Stunning, Beachy collection, while definately having that signature Etro vibe. What would make an Etro collection, an Etro collection without prints?

Oscar de la Renta is known for his ultra feminine and Lady Like designs that are super Classy, and today he impressed us all when he presented his very Lady like and Femine Resort 2014 collection today in New York City.
One new trend that I see in this collection, is the houndstooth and plaid which we have seen last fall. Oscar pairs the houndstooth and plaid elements, which are Very Fall and Winter with floral and lace and Paisley prints to make them ultra Chic and wearable even in the Spring time. Grey was also seen a lot at the show, in lady like and floral dresses. Lace, Flowers and white were also key elements in this collection. Evening gowns in black, navy, and pinks.
Here are photos of some of my favorite looks from the Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 collection.
