Vanessa Bruno Spring 2014

I love Vanessa Bruno‘s show, it has that 90s Grunge feel with the plaid and the wedges, seen throughout all the Fall shows, but in a more Beautiful Spring like vibe. I see a bit of a nature like vibe, with the Butterfly prints on the dress. And the polka dots bring this very Cute and feminine vibe to the mix. But when all of these elements are mixed together, you have this just Beautiful, fun and vibrant collection. Leaving me Speechless.

Erdem Spring 2014

Rather than his usual pastel shade and Floral prints, Erdem Moralioglu opts for a more Dramatic and Classy collection filled with shades of Black and white. Walking to the beat of Cello and Piano performers, the models wore Beautiful feathers and lace ensembles, each equally Stunning and perfectly Glamorous and Romantic for any Spring event.

Derek Lam Spring 2014

The hair was left down or in a Natural, effortless ponytail, (depending on what look the model wore). The makeup was left very natural, and Beautiful with an Edgy zig-zag cat eye across the eye. Makeup Done by the Estée Lauder crew.

Derek Lam begins his collection, sending models down the runway in navy or black and white, not your tablecloth checkered printed ensembles. Some with a cloth tied around their head, for a very modern, Gypsy or African inspired look.

Models then come down the runway in Beautiful trench coats and shirts, paired over very feminine lace dresses, in your light, more pastel shades. Lam pairs the feminine and Girly ensembles with Gladiator sandals, very gypsy inspired. For an edge to the Sweet lace and pastels.

At the end of the show, Lam sends models down the runway in either black or white dresses, with the shoulders peeking through. Each with a Beautiful fringed neck scarf. The last few looks consisted of Beautiful monochromatic gowns, my favorite a strapless gown in the shade of Daffodil.

Classy, Timeless Pieces with a Chic Mix at Vera Wang Resort 2014

image image image image image image image image image image

Top Models Hanne Gaby, Madga L., Janice Alida, and Anabela B. show off Chic looks from the Vera Wang Resort 2014 Collection.

At Vera Wang Resort 2014, Classy timeless pieces like a  baby blue checkered print blouse, and Classy pieces in Navy, kind of nautical like were given a Chic update with black vertical striped masculine suit style tailored pants, jackets, and vests. Classy black and white stripes were used in many styles: vertical, horizontal, big, or small. And of course lace. Black and White were key colors. And hints of baby blue were seen throughout the collection. The hair was left down, showing off effortlessly done waves, very causal just like the collection, and a statement purple lip, adding the extra color to the mostly neutral collection. Kind of like at the Vera Wang Fall 2013 collection. Very Classy Casual Chic.

Joan Smalls shows off many of the fun looks.

Now who doesn’t love confetti? There are few who don’t, and even better, Riccardo Tisci Givenchy‘s Creative director shows off such fun confettied looks in his Resort 2014 collection.

Tisci began using neutrals like oversized khaki jackets, denim dresses, strapless white dresses, and Chic tailored suits in hues of black and white. And then…….Boom!!!!!! There comes the confetti!!!!!!! Flowers and polka dots in Chic pink and pastel hues cover black, white, and khaki giving the neutrals a fun, needed color. Soooooo fun and Chic.

Do you think that Riccardo Tisci’s confetti addition was fun? Would you wear a confetti look from the Givenchy Resort 2014 collection?
