This morning’s Simone Rocha collection, may just have been one of the best shows of London Fashion Week. My Instagram feed, this morning, was pretty much filled with Fashion critics of all kinds, praising Ms. Rocha. With 1940s staples, getting an Elegant futuristic twist. A plaid dress gets a structure. Fur gets metallic adornments. The LBD gets a flirty twist, with ruffles. A classic cocktail dress gets covered in metallics. A little red or white dress gets sheer and caged. And Simone Rocha gets the honor of leaving a lasting impression at London Fashion Week.
For Spring, Simone Rocha gives Classy and Ladylike styles, a Fun and Edgy twist. In a way, mixing the edgy and feminine styles showed off by the people of Great Britain. Rocha begins her collection, with Beautiful LBDs with ruffles of many styles, which have been seen a lot throughout London and New York Fashion Week. As designers are really putting their own zests on Traditonal feminine dresses.
Rocha even puts cutouts into her LBDs for a really edgy and bold feel. The models are also sporting pearl and lace chokers, and very feminine dresses towards the end, really making me think of Coco Chanel, with a more Marie Antoinette, Victorian like twist.
