Simone Rocha Spring 2014

For Spring, Simone Rocha gives Classy and Ladylike styles, a Fun and Edgy twist. In a way, mixing the edgy and feminine styles showed off by the people of Great Britain. Rocha begins her collection, with Beautiful LBDs with ruffles of many styles, which have been seen a lot throughout London and New York Fashion Week. As designers are really putting their own zests on Traditonal feminine dresses.

Rocha even puts cutouts into her LBDs for a really edgy and bold feel. The models are also sporting pearl  and lace chokers, and very feminine dresses towards the end, really making me think of Coco Chanel, with a more Marie Antoinette, Victorian like twist.

Inspired by Art at Giles Spring 2014

Giles Deacon was inspired by art for his collection, beginning his collection with an array of Beautiful silk gowns, Very Greican inspired, with Beautiful paintings, printed on the gowns. Kind of reminding me of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa. Deacon then switches it up to more Graphic art, printing lip graphics all over the Sexy Baroque, Silk, and Bold dresses.

Deacon then adds Beautiful, more detailed Smake skin art gowns, and tan and black gowns plastered in Beautiful and Dramatic feathers. For a little bit of a Great Gatsby feel. And then Ondria Hardin and the model who closed the show appeared in STUNNING Black ball gowns, with none other than, the Brand’s signature bold headpieces, which would really be perfect for the Met Gala‘s Punk themed celebration back in May.
