The artistic trend is definately not going away any time soon!!! Tsumari Chisato takes an artistic approach for Fall. With a catwalk with a backdrop, just as if it came out of The Musuem of Modern Art, models came out in clothing, perfectly cloned for the theme. A Parisian Glamour gets a so 2014 twist.
For me, I can’t believe that Milan Fashion Week is coming to an end!!!! It feels like yesterday that models like: Katya Riabinkina, Yumi Lambert, and Marine Deeluw’s Instagrams were filled with pictures from castings, a week prior to New York Fashion Week. As we all say good bye to Milan Fashion Week, and pack our bags for Paris; Giorgio Armani leaves us with another stellar collection. Infusing lime into Classic Staples, we are left with a collection that’s perfectly futuristic, yet Classy and polished. And those wet like curls, also give the collection that extra modern zest. So as we may be saying farewell to Milan, Giorgio Armani infuses our minds with a lasting Fall collection, just as our favorite models, editiors, and bloggers hop on a plane, train, or bus to Paris.
The Ottoman Empire as Tadashi Shoji‘s token of inspiration for the collection. Comes a palette of rich hues like: Emerald, Red, Cobalt Blue, Cream, and of course Black. The collection is composed of mainly lacedresses, (and of course some floor length gowns), which’ll look perfect for any Holiday party or gathering you’ll be attending. The red lace dress with a full skirt will look perfect when visiting family. While the strapless cream dress with black lace embriodered across the sides will look perfect for getting cocktails, or to a Black & White ball. And the Cobalt and Emerald dresses, with black lace embroidery will be perfect from a day at the office to a Holiday party. Making me wish that Cotillion had a Holiday Ball, so I could attend in one of Tadashi Shoji’s stunners.
Giovanna Randall definately left a Masculine Mark this Pre-Fall season. As tailored suits, trenches, and blouses take roll. But Randall still seemed to add that signature Romantic vibe. As lace tights were paired with school girl inspired shifts. Sketches of feathers line the floor length skirts and Evening gowns. A fur jacket topped off a black full skirt and a white blouse, for a very 40s inspired look. And with the Romantic curls and soft but so Radiant makeup look that Yumi Lambert and Josefien Rodermains sported as they showed off the collection. The collection definately couldn’t get any better! Now what I want is those white lace tights for a cold Spring or Fall’s day.
Oscar de la Renta may have not presented a Pre-Fall runway collection this season, but that doesn’t mean a number of models were caught posing in looks from the collection, as Bryan Boy watches yesterday’s presentation. De la Renta, himself, told Style.com, “I travel a lot,” adding, “in a chair.” As the collection was inspired by his travels. The vivid hues inspired by Japanese fashions. A parrot was embroidered on a full skirt. While delicate red and white roses were embroidered onto the evening gowns. And golden petals got plastered onto a traditional black trench.
