A Mystical Mulberry Show

Once upon a time, on a Mystical night in the Magical forest, appears Mulberry muse, Cara Delevingne, from a wooden pladder. A grey Mulberry backpack on her back. Then comes 2 more obsessive Mulberry handbags, 1 olive, the other camouflage, 2 male models, a herd of Greyhounds, and pure fascination.

Mulberry Gives Classic Staples a Cute and Cozy Twist for Pre-Fall

As Iconic Creative Director, Emma Hill, (who by the way helped give the House of Mulberry a name), departed Mulberry. The first collection without the designer at the brand gave Classic staples a Cute and Cozy twist. The importance of outerwear was shown, as puffy coats get a trench inspired silhouette and are finished off with a cute little bow. The bow, itself, seen a lot throughout the collection, as the bow is also seen on Pea Green draping silk tops, paired with a Classic black suit or pencil skirt. And even giving a blouse in a horiziontally striped print, usually seen on your traditional menswear button-down, a cute and feminine twist. While a tan jumpsuit with paisleys embroidered all over it; makes me reminscene the days when Emma Hill reigned at Mulberry.

27. Mulberry’s Handbags

I really admired the versatility of the handbags. As they came in Emerald, Tan, Daffodil, Black, Brown, or White. And of course in many different styles and sizes. Emma Hill showed off a specific colored bag with a specific pattern, making it look even more Chic, and easier for you to find the right color combinations that will make you look Chic this Fall.

Mulberry Spring 2014

Cara Delevingne kicks off the show, wearing a Beautiful grey floral baroque jacket and skirt, with a baby blue sheer blouse, sending more models down the runway in similar ensembles. I see a little bit of the Sleepwear element at the beginning, with many baggy pant jumpsuits and the sheer nylon fabric ensembles. But, what I really see throughout the collection is a lot 60s inspired looks. With the many floral print shifts, Monochromatic tangerine ensembles, and of course the feminine Grey floral baroque ensembles at beginning, and the lace at the end, Mulberry definitely gives 60s Fashion such a Chic, Modern twist. And who couldn’t love that bulldog?
