As the collection was released yesterday, Henry Holland made a feminine and quirky statement fun for Pre-Fall. As a Cobalt pleated chiffon dress gets a statement with aqua and white stripes on the bottom. Plaid separates get mixed with stripes. A silk full skirt gets printed with sheilds in all bright hues, and topped off with a red graphic hoodie. Buttoned blue velvet dress gets quirky with a printed collar. And each look gets an instant finish with lavish polka dotted pumps, in bold hues.
Henry Holland’s muse Charlotte Wiggins shows off the collection.
The Ottoman Empire as Tadashi Shoji‘s token of inspiration for the collection. Comes a palette of rich hues like: Emerald, Red, Cobalt Blue, Cream, and of course Black. The collection is composed of mainly lacedresses, (and of course some floor length gowns), which’ll look perfect for any Holiday party or gathering you’ll be attending. The red lace dress with a full skirt will look perfect when visiting family. While the strapless cream dress with black lace embriodered across the sides will look perfect for getting cocktails, or to a Black & White ball. And the Cobalt and Emerald dresses, with black lace embroidery will be perfect from a day at the office to a Holiday party. Making me wish that Cotillion had a Holiday Ball, so I could attend in one of Tadashi Shoji’s stunners.
Full Skirts. Trenchcoats. Lavender. Ballet Pink. And Spring Green. Just to name some of the feminine elements seen in Versace‘s Pre-Fall 2014 collection. As Versace’s signature über Sexy and Rock & Roll vibe skirts, (edgy and feminine at the same time), and that Spring Green trench, bedazzled at the shoulders. While those towering leather boots made me wish I wasn’t almost 5’3. And that Ballet Pink Sexy plunging silk dress made me think perfect for a Glamorous party on the terrace.
Strapless gowns get a casual vibe when in a knit inspired fabric. And the trench coat gets a knit remake. While a fur ballet pink Trenchcoat makes you feel as if you’re curled up on the couch, even when at work or in the classroom. And Flapper inspired sequined shifts go under your staple knitted trench. Today in New York City, Calvin Klein‘s Francisco Costa presented the Pre-Fall 2014 collection for the brand. Mixing luxe with laid back for an über Chic and effortless result.
Mix your hoodie with your black embellished tutu! Pair that white tank with your favorite ruffled skirt! And wear your silver studded lion top with your favorite black suit!!!! Mixing feminine and edgy separates is what I see here at Sachin + Babi, describing my mom’s wardrobe for going out, pretty well. Now the pairings may be ideal to every women’s style, but mixing at matching the staples will definately leave you making a statement. Now I know I’m begging for each of those black tutu skirts, and that Eddy LBD, with Cavalli inspired purple and white graphics.
